. Peterhouse School Websites: A Brief History Peterhouse is well placed online with three websites that augment each other in many ways. Here is how it all started. Peterhouse Site 1: Peterhouse has not had an official website until 2008. Prior to that Oliver Beaumont (Petrean 1966, Paget House) started a website way back in the 1990s. This has been the main info portal for Peterhouse -and still is in terms of its vast content. The site is at Home.vicnet.net.au/~Petrean Peterhouse Site 2: In 2004 Eric Gondwe (Petrean 1992, Ellis House) noticed Peterhouse.org had content unrelated to anything on Peterhouse, then began tracking it. The website was bought as soon as it became available on June 10, 2005. It has been serving as a key supplemental website. Peterhouse Site 3: In 2007, Peterhouse launched an official website which became operational in 2008. The site’s URL (web address) are PeterhouseGroup.co.zw (since 2007) and PeterhouseGroup.com (since Feb 2009). The three websites remain operational, complementing each other. Peterhouse.org combines all three sites through the search interface and through links. The websites are categorized as “Site 1,” “Site 2,” and “Site 3,” based on the period they were created. * PH Site 1: Pioneer Petrean Site (Since 1990s!) at Home.vicnet.net.au/~Petrean * PH Site 2: Supplemental Site (Since 2005) at Peterhouse.org (right here) * PH Site 3: New Official Site (Since 2008) at PeterhouseGroup.co.zw & PeterhouseGroup.com |
